Battle of the Airlines, which one is the best to book with?

Cons:

Pros:

  • Two free checked bags per person

Cons:

  •  International options are a bit limited

  • Brace yourself for the no-assigned-seating game


American Airlines

Pros:

  • They fly everywhere!

  • AAdvantage, their loyalty program, lets you earn and spend miles like a pro.

Cons:

  • Be aware of baggage fees, and consider joining AAdvantage if you're a frequent traveler.

Spirit Airlines

Pros:

  • Spirit's got your budget in mind with seriously low starting prices.

  •  Frequent sales and promos

Cons:

  • Spirit's a la carte pricing can lead to extra charges piling up.

  • BYOS - Bring your own Snacks. Snacks and entertainment aren't freebies here.


Frontier

Pros:

  • Keep your radar on for occasional sales and promotions – they're your ticket to savings.

Cons:

  • When purchasing your flight they charge you for EVERYTHING, those add up!

  • Amenities here are a bit lean.



Each airline brings something unique to the table, so weigh those pros and cons based on what floats your travel boat.
